Man who prompted ‘incredible’ deputy response appears in court in Broward



FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – On Saturday, in court, Broward County Circuit Judge Elijah Williams mentioned over 20 deputies spoke back — together with SWAT, dog, robots, and aviation — to get Eric Exantus out of the home.

County data display Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Exantus, 36, a convicted felon, on Friday and booked him on seven fees on the major prison in Fort Lauderdale.

Exantus seemed prior to Williams in bond court on Saturday.

“It was incredible,” Williams mentioned in court in regards to the police response.

Exantus is going through fees of annoyed attack with a dangerous weapon with out intent, battery, ownership of a weapon or ammunition via a convicted felon, and resisting an officer with out violence.

The protection mentioned Exantus had two kids ages 10 and 11 and couldn’t come up with the money for a prime bond. The prosecution mentioned he had a 2004 conviction in Florida and offenses in Georgia in 2022.

Williams ordered Exantus to not have touch with a sufferer, and to keep away from guns and ammunition, and set his bond at $40,100.
