Man who fatally shot his father is sentenced to 12 years in prison in plea deal

(*12*)SAN ANTONIO – A person who confessed to police that he fatally shot his father at their Southeast Side house in 2021 has now pleaded to blame in court docket to the crime.

Jason Anthony Huron was once sentenced on Wednesday to 12 years in prison in a plea deal.

According to a prior document, Huron, who was once 42 on the time of the incident, at the start informed a 911 dispatcher that his father had died via suicide in his house in the 300 block of Lyric Street.

However, additional into the decision with the dispatcher, he admitted to having fatally shot his father.

When officials arrived on scene they discovered Jason Huron’s father, Anthony Huron, deceased in the lounge with a gunshot wound.
