Man surrenders to deputies after woman stabbed in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea



LAUDERDALE-BY-THE-SEA, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing incident that took place Sunday evening in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.

According to a spokesperson for the company, deputies replied to the 4400 block of North Ocean Drive round 9:30 p.m. after receiving a record a couple of stabbing.

The spokesperson stated deputies arrived to discover a woman who have been stabbed a couple of instances.

Paramedics transported her to a close-by sanatorium with accidents that weren’t anticipated to be life-threatening.

Authorities stated the suspect, Damion Matthews, 47, grew to become himself in to regulation enforcement Monday morning at BSO’s Main Jail.
