Man open carries gun at PNG pep rally


PORT NECHES, Texas — A person was once taken into custody through Port Neches Police after he introduced a gun to the Mid-County Madness pep rally on Friday.

James Curtis Baker had the gun holstered when he arrived to the Port Neches Groves High School health club simply sooner than 2 p.m. in step with Port Neches Police Chief Cherí Griffith.

Baker was once arrested at the health club then interviewed at the police station. He was once delivered to the Jefferson County Jail.

It didn’t seem that Baker meant to do any hurt, however even with constitutional elevate, it’s unlawful to hold a gun onto a highschool campus in step with Chief Griffith.

He is being charged with illegal sporting of a weapon in a prohibited position.
