Man hospitalized after shots ring out in Orlando neighborhood, police say

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man is in the hospital after being shot in an Orlando neighborhood, police said Friday. 

This happened around 12:30 a.m. on Edgemoor Street in Orlando. Police say the shooting victim is in surgery after gunfire erupted in the area. 

Police tell FOX 35 News that the male victim is expected to survive.

Police have not released any information about a possible suspect or what led up to the shooting.
