Man Charged With Making Alleged Threats to Faculty at Several South Florida College – NBC 6 South Florida


A person from Delray Beach was arrested and charged after allegedly making threats to kill or hurt school members at a number of schools in Palm Beach County.

NBC affiliate WPTV-TV experiences Christopher Revere, 35, was arrested after an investigation started in late January into threats made by e mail to school members at Florida Atlantic University and Palm Beach State College.

Revere allegedly despatched repetitive emails utilizing profanity and calling the school by derogatory names.

“As a soldier we carry the weight of expecting to kill an ‘enemy’ of our country,” one of many emails stated. “Imagine how I feel about your life.”

Police tried to attain out to Revere in late January, however he refused to open the door and wouldn’t reply questions. Officers entered his dwelling days after initially making contact and located a bolt-action rifle, a semi-automatic pistol and several other hundred rounds of ammunition.

Revere was arrested Monday on six counts of written threats to kill or do bodily hurt. He is being held on $60,000 bond.
