Man charged with horrific attack of ex-wife and daughters makes first court appearance since indictment


SAN ANTONIO – A person accused of brutally attacking his ex-wife and two younger daughters previous this yr, killing one of them, used to be in court for his first appearance since his indictment.

Stephen Clare is charged with capital homicide, tried capital homicide and annoyed attack with a dangerous weapon.

On April 10 at a house within the 500 block of Robinhood Place, Clare is accused of capturing his ex-wife Mariah Clare and stabbing his two younger daughters, killing the youngest 11-month-old Willow Clare.

In court Wednesday, Stephen Clare made a short lived appearance as his legal professionals and the state conferred.

Judge Joel Perez within the 437th District Court requested the state if they’d be searching for the dying penalty on this case.

Prosecutor Tamara Strauch stated the District Attorney’s administrative center committee, who makes the verdict, hasn’t made one but.
