Man caught on camera punching elderly shopper at Lauderdale Lakes Walmart


LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff’s Office launched surveillance video Wednesday of a person attacking an elderly shopper in Lauderdale Lakes two weeks in the past, government stated.

It took place simply ahead of 10 a.m. on Oct. 11, at Walmart, situated at 3001 N. State Road 7.

Surveillance video presentations an elderly guy strolling during the first set of sliding doorways to go out the shop, when an unknown guy punched him two times within the face.

Detectives described the offender as a tall, skinny guy dressed in a army sweater with gray lettering on the entrance, black pants and flip-flops.

Authorities stated in a while after the assault, the person exited the shop and headed north against Oakland Park Boulevard on foot.

According to BSO Public Information Officer Carey Codd, the person didn’t thieve anything else from the sufferer, and the sufferer didn’t know the attacker, nor did he have any phrases with him previous to the incident.

The sufferer sustained minor accidents following the assault, Codd stated.
