Man arrested in Phoenix in Oklahoma missing girl case

A person arrested in Phoenix on Thursday faces pending murder expenses out of Oklahoma in reference to the case of a missing girl.

Ivon Neil Adams III, 36, of Cyril, Oklahoma, was arrested on felony warrants out of Oklahoma about 5 p.m. in the realm of 67th Avenue and Camelback Road, based on police. Charging paperwork on Adams’ arrest state he’s going through pending first diploma homicide and baby neglect expenses in Oklahoma.

On Friday, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation introduced Adams’ arrest as being in connection to the case of missing 4-year-old Athena Brownfield of Cyril, a city southwest of Oklahoma City. Adams is awaiting extradition to Oklahoma, the bureau mentioned.

Evidence of the offense, based on court docket paperwork, was discovered on Adams’ cellphone.

Authorities mentioned Athena and her 5-year-old sister had been in the care of Alysia and Ivon Adams.
