MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Police officials in Miami-Dade County arrested a person who they stated punched a woman whilst they have been driving on a public transit bus.
According to government, the sufferer, a 68-year-old woman, used to be driving on a Miami-Dade Transit bus when the suspect punched her for no obvious reason why.
Police have recognized the suspect as 45-year-old James Wells, who they stated is homeless.
Authorities stated Wells punched the sufferer with a closed fist behind her shoulder. She used to be handled for bruising on the scene however didn’t require hospitalization.
After the incident, Wells were given off the bus on West Flagler Street and fled north on Northwest 79th Avenue, and police stated they stuck up with him in a close-by buying groceries middle parking zone.
Authorities stated there used to be surveillance photos from throughout the bus of the incident.
Wells used to be arrested and brought to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
