Man Arrested After Racist, Homophobic Rant at San Ramon In-N-Out – NBC Bay Area


A Colorado man has been arrested for violating California’s hate crime legal guidelines after a viral TikTok video allegedly captured him making bigoted, racist comments towards different clients at an East Bay In-N-Out restaurant, police introduced Monday.

The suspect was recognized by San Ramon’s police chief as 40-year-old Jordan Douglas Krah, a Denver resident.

The incident occurred on the night time of Christmas Eve. The video was posted the next day and rapidly racked up hundreds of thousands of views.

The TikTok video that captured the change exhibits two diners making an attempt completely different menu gadgets, when somebody behind the digital camera says “You’re filming yourself eating? You’re weird homosexuals.”

The diners look surprised, and the suspect then asks if they’re Japanese or Korean. When one among them solutions ‘Korean’, the suspect then says “that’s what I thought. You’re Kim Jong Un’s boyfriend huh.”

As the diners chuckle nervously, the suspect then says he’s “a slavemaster” and makes use of a homophobic slur.

After that, the suspect tells them “see you outside.”

On Sunday afternoon, San Ramon Police Chief Denton Carlson mentioned on social media that police had been in search of information in regards to the suspect and posted a photograph of a person in a silver Mustang, with Florida plates.

On Monday, the chief mentioned Krah could be booked at Contra Costa County jail in Martinez on suspicion of a hate crime.

“Thank you to everyone who has helped by providing information associated with the racist and homophobic incidents over the past few days,” Carlson mentioned Monday in a publish on social media.

More information on the case could be launched later, the chief mentioned.
