Man accused of beating ex-girlfriend while holding her hostage in Hialeah



HIALEAH, Fla. – A 27-year-old guy gave the impression in Miami-Dade County courtroom on Saturday afternoon to stand fees after a girl reported she had dated him for roughly 8 months when she feared for her existence while he held her hostage in a single day in Hialeah.

Attorney Vidal Marino Velis represented Kyle Castanaza, who gave the impression earlier than Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Carmen Cabarga after he surrendered to cops on Thursday for fees associated with the home violence incident in July.

“My client after that alleged incident refused to continue seeing the young lady and broke off the relationship,” Marino Velis stated.

According to an arrest shape in the case, Castanaza hit the girl in the knees, grabbed her by way of the hair, kicked her in the tummy and palms, and hit her in the face while he held her hostage in her rental. The girl reported escaping and asking a neighbor for lend a hand.

Castanaza is dealing with 3 legal fees: Kidnapping, false imprisonment, and witness tampering. He could also be dealing with a misdemeanor fee of battery. Cabarga denied him bond at the kidnapping fee and ordered him to avoid the sufferer.

Cabarga set his Castanaza’s bond for the opposite fees at $11,100. Miami-Dade courtroom information display he has a pre-trial detention listening to set for 9 a.m., on April 1, and Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Christine Bandin was once set to preside over the case.
