LUMBERTON, Texas — A Lumberton High School instructor reacted temporarily when he discovered a student with an airsoft gun Tuesday morning in a campus toilet.
Lumberton Police arrested the 15-year-old highschool student, who has been charged with fatal habits, in step with Lumberton Police Chief Danny Sullins.
During a Tuesday morning pep rally the trainer heard a “commotion” in a boy’s toilet and when he went within to test it out he discovered the teenager with the airsoft gun Sullins informed 12News.
Thinking in the beginning the airsoft gun was once an actual automated firearm, the trainer in short feared for his lifestyles and the lives of a number of different scholars in the toilet.
He temporarily reacted and grabbed the airsoft gun from the student. During a scuffle to grasp the airsoft gun it went off, firing a troublesome, plastic, spherical projectile Sullins mentioned.
The airsoft gun was once then came upon to be a toy. No one was once injured.
The youngster was once arrested through officials all through the pep rally and brought to the Hardin County Juvenile Detention Facility in Kountze in step with Sullins.
Hardin County Attorney Matt Minnick assisted police with the case, Sullins mentioned.
