• The Lady Flames earned their first-ever win over a Top 25 program closing week. Playing in Hawai’i for the primary time, Liberty disappointed No. 23 Hawai’i in 5 units. That win driven Liberty’s report to 7-0 at the season ahead of falling to UCLA and Pepperdine.
• Current Liberty Head Coach Trevor Johnson was once an assistant trainer and recruiting coordinator at Texas A&M in 2016 and 2017, whilst Liberty affiliate head trainer Brett Anema was once a volunteer assistant at Texas A&M in 2017. Liberty’s beginning libero, Erica Lowery, performed her first two seasons at Texas A&M ahead of moving to Liberty. Liberty’s Kate Curtis performed two times for Auburn at Texas A&M’s Reed Arena in 2021.
• Kamryn Bacus leads CUSA with 4.30 kills according to set (twenty fourth nationally) and 5.08 kills according to set (18th nationally). She scored a career-high 25 kills in Liberty’s win at No. 23 Hawai’i, probably the most kills via a Lady Flame since Amelia Preston’s 29 at North Alabama, Nov. 3, 2019.

• Madison Blane paces all CUSA avid gamers in each blocks according to set (1.52 – 14th nationally) and hitting share (.443).
• 2022 ASUN Setter of the Year Delaney Dilfer was once named CUSA Setter of the Week on Aug. 28. She dished out a season-high 51 assists at Hawai’i closing Thursday, including 14 digs.
• Kate Phillips recorded 20 kills and 20 digs closing Thursday at Hawai’i, changing into the primary Lady Flame since Lillie Happel (21 kills, 23 digs) at UNC Asheville, Nov. 12, 2011 with 20 kills and 20 digs in the similar fit.
