Legoland Florida donating $20 from every ticket to Hurricane Ian relief efforts


WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Legoland Florida Resort is stepping up to assist victims of Hurricane Ian.

Now via Oct. 9, the resort stated it would donate $20 from every Legoland theme park ticket offered on-line to the American Red Cross to assist assist Hurricane Ian relief efforts up to a most of $100,000. The park stated the donations will allow the American Red Cross to put together and reply to assist folks recuperate from the catastrophe.

Just like many different Central Florida theme parks, Legoland Florida Resort closed for security causes main up Hurricane Ian’s arrival. The park has since reopened its doorways to company, and its water park will reopen to company on Saturday.

Two of the water park’s slides, the Twin Chasers and Splash Out, will stay briefly closed.

The theme park introduced Wednesday that it will likely be delaying the launch of its latest attraction, Pirate River Quest, till subsequent 12 months due to Hurricane Ian impacts.

“The canals of Cypress Gardens, along with the Chain of Lakes and Peace River, have seen record-breaking water levels this year, which have impacted the attraction’s intended launch date,” the resort stated in a news launch. “This captain-driven boat ride will navigate the natural passageways of Lake Eloise and the historic Cypress Gardens.”
