Keys man arrested after hitting victim in the head with coral, robbing him

BIG PINE KEY, Fla. – Deputies in the Florida Keys arrested a man accused of hitting every other man in the head with a coral rock.

It came about on Friday at roughly 3:50 p.m. alongside Warbler Lane on Big Pine Key.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, 33-year-old Newton Auer Brungart was once arrested after allegedly hanging the 60-year-old victim, who deputies discovered with cuts to his head and arm.

After a temporary investigation, deputies discovered Burngart a brief distance away quickly after with the victim’s unhealthy which contained his ID and private pieces.

He was once taken into custody on annoyed battery and robbery fees.

There had been no life-threatening accidents reported, deputies mentioned.
