Key West man accused of beating, choking wife



KEY WEST, Fla. – Police arrested a Key West man on a criminal price Sunday once they mentioned he beat and choked his pregnant wife — all as a result of she was once taking part in a cell sport with any other man and wouldn’t devour dinner, they mentioned.

According to an arrest document from the Key West Police Department, the incident came about at round 1 a.m. Sunday on the couple’s cell house off 14th Street.

According to the document, Bijoy turned into angrier after his wife didn’t wish to devour the dinner he made for her.

He started “hitting her head and her face” and, at one level, “grabbed her face, covering her mouth as to suffocate her and choke her with his other hand,” police wrote.

The girl, who mentioned she couldn’t breathe and feared for her lifestyles, mentioned her husband then instructed her “If you weren’t pregnant, I would kill you,” the document states.

She would later pass to the clinic once you have a “terrible headache” and police mentioned she had bruises on her face, neck, arm and hand.

Police mentioned they spoke with Bijoy, who instructed them that “he’s been working hard to support his wife and he doesn’t like cheating” and mentioned his wife “forced” him to slap her.

KWPD officials arrested Bijoy on a price of annoyed battery on a pregnant sufferer. He was once being held within the Monroe County prison on a $7,500 bond, in keeping with prison information.

He’s scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 10.
