Justin Bieber drops lawsuit against Twitter users who accused him of sexual assault



LOS ANGELES — Justin Bieber requested a decide to dismiss his defamation lawsuit against two ladies who accused him of sexual assault.

Attorneys for Bieber filed a request for dismissal in Los Angeles County Superior Court final week. The courtroom paperwork didn’t reveal whether or not Bieber and the defendants had agreed on a settlement.

“Justin has decided to move on and dismiss the case for defamation filed in 2020,” Evan Spiegel, an lawyer for Bieber, mentioned Tuesday night.

In 2020, Bieber filed a $20 million defamation swimsuit against two Twitter users who accused him of sexual assault. Khadidja Djibrine and a lady recognized solely as Danielle alleged in a collection of tweets in 2020 that Bieber assaulted them on separate events in 2014 and 2015.

Bieber dismissed the allegations as “factually impossible” and posted receipts, e mail screenshots and news articles to his social media accounts that point out he was along with his girlfriend on the time, Selena Gomez, the night time of the alleged assault.

“Rumors are rumors but sexual abuse is something I don’t take lightly.
