If you’re heading to San Antonio International this weekend, plan ahead



SAN ANTONIO – Friday is the beginning of what the San Antonio International Airport expects to be its busiest trip duration ever.

While making plans a travel is annoying, understanding how to get to the airport generally is a headache, too.

“We’re expecting a lot of travelers. We’re expecting a lot of parking operations to continue,” defined Ryan Rocha, leader of operations on the San Antonio International Airport (SAT). “So we have a clear message for our travelers — it’s plan ahead.”

Rocha says passengers must plan to be on the airport two hours prior to boarding time, no longer prior to departure.

There are some ways to get to the airport, like getting dropped off by way of circle of relatives or buddies or a rideshare.

Airport officers be expecting a lot of people to power themselves. They plan on opening overflow loads, in most cases used for busy classes like spring wreck and the vacations.

Before heading to the airport, you can check to see which lots have open spots.

If you need one thing nearer and don’t need to look ahead to a trip, you’ll be able to go for valet parking.
