FORT WORTH, Texas — A deadly crash had Interstate 35W shut down in south Fort Worth early Monday morning, police mentioned.
The crash occurred round 5:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the freeway at Garden Acres Drive. All northbound lanes have been blocked as crews labored to wash up the crash.

Police mentioned a person needed to be extricated from a pickup truck and was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital. It was unclear if the person died in the crash; however police confirmed there was at the least one fatality in the crash, which concerned a number of autos.
