Hurricane Hilary expected to weaken to tropical storm before crossing into California

Southern California and the Southwest are bracing for flash flooding.

Hilary, now an impressive Category 4 typhoon, is expected to make landfall in Mexico’s Baja California by means of Sunday morning after which weaken to a tropical storm before crossing into California Sunday night time.
