How North Texas chefs are celebrating Lunar New Year



WFAA took a meals tour throughout the DFW space, discovering native eating places and chefs who have fun the Lunar New Year. They shared their favourite dish for the vacation.

DALLAS — This weekend, a couple of quarter of the world will have fun the Lunar New Year. While every tradition has distinctive traditions, households discover frequent floor celebrating over meals round family members.

Across the Dallas-Fort Worth space, many pay tribute to the vacation, often known as the Spring Festival. Over in Lewisville, David Lee, proprietor of Inchon Food Factory, creates rice muffins that are a staple for any Korean vacation. His favourite known as Yaksik, a candy rice coated in nuts and dried fruit. It has a candy base with flavorful toppings. Lee at all times items Yaksik to neighbors and pals for the vacations. He sells it recurrently at his shops within the DFW space.
