Houston news, crime: Bank robber wanted


HOUSTON — FBI Houston needs the public’s help with figuring out a person who has robbed no less than 3 Houston-area banks. 

The newest financial institution heists by way of the person dubbed the “Playbook Pilferer” have been on Friday, Oct. 20. The FBI mentioned between 9:30 and 10 a.m. the robber hit a Wells Fargo on FM 1960 near Cutten Road after which a Houston Federal Credit Union just 6 minutes away.

The photos underneath display what the “Playbook Pilferer” was once dressed in when he robbed the Wells Fargo and Houston Federal Credit Union. He looked as if it would have on a burgundy long-sleeve blouse, darkish blue jean pants, reflective sun shades and a black surgical masks. 

FBI Houston mentioned on Sept. 18, the similar robber hit a Chase Bank that is proper around the boulevard from the Wells Fargo he robbed in October.

The suspect is described as a person in his mid-40s to early 50s. He is ready 6 toes tall with a medium to heavy construct and has shoulder-length salt and pepper locs, the FBI mentioned.
