Hiker missing for over a week in Big Bend National Park

Christy Perry, 25, has been missing since Nov. 9.

A seek is underway in Big Bend National Park for a hiker who has been missing for over a week, in step with to government.

Christy Perry, 25, has been missing since Nov. 9 when she didn’t display as much as her tenting reservation, in step with the National Park Service.

Perry traveled from Houston to Big Bend National Park in southwest Texas. She picked up a condo automobile in Midland, Texas, and arrived on the park on Nov. 9, in step with the NPS.

She didn’t display up at her campsite that night time in the Chisos Basin Campground, in step with the NPS.

Perry’s closing identified location used to be the start of the park’s Lost Mine Trail. Her automobile used to be situated on the trailhead, in step with the NPS.

Big Bend National Park’s Lost Mine Trail is closed because of the quest.

Search groups made up of NPS workers, U.S. Border Patrol, Texas Game Wardens with two Ok-9 groups and Los Diablos fireplace team are combing in the course of the surrounding canyons and ridges. U.S. Customs and Border Protection may also be accomplishing an aerial seek via helicopter, in step with the NPS.

Lost Mine Trail, which climbs steeply despite the fact that the woodlands of the Chisos Mountains, is 4.8 miles spherical commute.

Perry is 5 ft, 2 inches tall and weighs 100 kilos. She has brown hair and a truthful complexion, in step with the NPS.
