ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Taylor Hearn allowed just one hit in 5 scoreless innings, Brad Miller homered and the Texas Rangers defeated the Kansas City Royals 3-1 on Thursday night time.

Heasley is from Plano, Texas, 29 miles from Globe Life Field. Hearn is from Royse City, a further 20 miles from the Rangers’ house subject.

Royals: C Cam Gallagher was eligible to return off the injured record on Thursday, however he remained inactive. C Sebastian Rivero began in his first main league sport this season after being recalled from Double-A Northwest Arkansas.
