HISD helps flip younger readers into leaders, due to a partnership with KPMG’s Family for Literacy (KFFL). The group donated $10,000 to refresh the library throughout the Gregory Lincoln Education Center, and Wednesday, Oct. 18, used to be the large unveiling.
The mission has been in the works since April through the District’s Community Partnerships Department. What began as a small ebook donation was a change of the library that serves Okay-8 scholars in Houston’s ancient Freedmen’s Town.
