Republican gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin inspired Long Islanders to get out and vote Saturday evening in Hauppauge with the assistance of Florida Gov. Ron De Santis.
De Santis campaigned alongside the gubernatorial hopeful at Zeldin’s marketing campaign headquarters.
The Florida governor can be seen as a possible contender for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
“I’ve known him for a number of years. I served with him, he’s a veteran, he’s somebody who has very strong values and most importantly, he is capable of exercising leadership. And that’s what you need more than anything else,” De Santis mentioned.
Zeldin is ready to seem with one other outstanding Republican, Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, on Monday for one more get-out-the-vote rally in Westchester County.
