Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp has declared a state of emergency based on prime inflation, blaming insurance policies popping out of Washington, D.C.

Kemp is briefly postponing Georgia’s excise tax — taxes enforced on explicit items, services and products and actions — on motor and locomotive gas, his place of work mentioned in a press release on Tuesday.
