Geneva County man arrested in Florida facing drug charges | WDHN


POPLAR SPRINGS, Fla (WDHN) — A Slocomb man was arrested in Holmes County after deputies say he admitted to having medication in the automotive throughout a site visitors cease.

According to the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, on February 9, deputies with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office carried out a site visitors cease on Highway 173, north of Highway 2.

Authorities say that throughout the cease, the driving force, Terry Tedders, of Slocomb, instructed deputies that he had methamphetamine and a pipe in the middle console of the car. K9 unit Lasso performed a free-air sniff across the car and confirmed the presence of unlawful narcotics by giving a optimistic alert.

A possible trigger search of the car ensued and deputies found a baggie of methamphetamine, a glass pipe containing methamphetamine, and extra drug paraphernalia, based on the HCSO.

Tedders was arrested and transported to the Holmes County Jail. He is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.
