Fulton County DA asks witnesses to appear before grand jury early this week in election probe

Former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan and journalist George Chidi, who have been in the past subpoenaed in Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ investigation into efforts by means of former President Donald Trump and others to overturn the 2020 election effects in Georgia, were known as to appear before a grand jury on Tuesday.

Duncan was once serving as president of the Georgia Senate in 2020 when Rudy Giuliani — who has in the past been notified that he’s a goal of the Fulton County probe — gave the impression right through a listening to to push false 2020 election fraud claims.

“We watched a series of events happen here that were tragic and untruthful,” Duncan stated on Saturday.
