FSU’s Office of Inspector General Services seeks reaccreditation

On March 22, 2023, the FSU Office of Inspector General Services (OIGS) will endure an onsite inspection by a group of assessors from the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA), who will consider OIGS’s insurance policies, procedures, administration, and operations for compliance with particular necessities and prescribed requirements as set forth by the CFA.

The evaluation group will decide OIGS’ compliance with 47 relevant requirements so as to retain accredited standing. Accreditation assessments happen each three years and the total Commission will make the dedication of reaccreditation standing as soon as the evaluation has been accomplished and reported.
