PITTSBURGH — Dior Johnson, a four-star guard from from Castiac, California, decommitted from Oregon three days in the past and introduced that he has a model new prime three colleges. The Pitt Panthers, alongside Mississippi State and Washington State, are the trio of presents that Johnson goes to decide on between.Â
John Meyer, director of basketball scouting at 247Sports wrote a glowing overview of Johnson’s sport and sees monumental potential in the 6-foot-3 level guard. Â
“Good length and stature for a point guard,” Meyer wrote. “Quick athlete with superb body control. Has tremendous instincts as a driver and passer. Delivers the difficult pass. Finishes the difficult shot. High-level lay up maker. Has multiple fade-away moves to his right shoulder. Shoots the ball well enough to be considered a three-level scorer. Has potential to rebound his position well and be a dangerous versatile defender.”
Johnson, who’s in the category of 2022, holds 19 presents in all from Syracuse, Alabama, LSU and a bunch of different high-major colleges. He is a top-10 participant at his place and in the state of California, in keeping with 247Sports.Â
With only one scholarship remaining, the Panthers are near rounding out their 2022-23 roster. Johnson can be a welcome addition, though proper now it seems that Colgate switch Nelly Cummings will run the present as a lead guard.Â
