Fort Worth, Texas: Suspect barricaded inside Mellow Mushroom

FORT WORTH, Texas — A suspect is in custody after firing photographs and barricading himself inside a Fort Worth eating place Thursday afternoon, police say. 

According to the Fort Worth Police Department, officials spoke back to the 3400 block of Blue Bonnet Circle after a record of a person firing gunshots within the air round 2 p.m. When they arrived, officials mentioned the person barricaded himself inside the Mellow Mushroom, a pizzeria. 

After a brief standoff, the suspect was once taken into custody through a SWAT crew, police mentioned. 

Due to the proximity to the TCU campus, an emergency alert was once despatched out to scholars and team of workers, then again, police have not showed what it mentioned. TCU police have been serving to Fort Worth cops with site visitors keep an eye on to verify pedestrians and automobiles did not input the world all through the standoff. 

No accidents have been reported within the incident. 

At this time, the suspect’s identify hasn’t been launched or the purpose at the back of his movements.
