Officers arrived at the home alongside the 3300 block of Ray Simon Drive and rendered support to the sufferer, police stated. Guzman died at the scene. The juvenile suspect was arrested and brought to the juvenile detention heart.

FWPD didn’t launch the boy’s age or his relationship with Guzman. As of Tuesday afternoon, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office hadn’t launched the sufferer’s identify or age.
Joe Basan, vice chairman of the Texas Golden Gloves Youth Center, informed WFAA that he knew Guzman for greater than 20 years. Guzman coached at the middle for greater than 25 years, Basan stated.
“It’s tragic,” Basan stated. “I can’t believe that it happened to him. We’re used to seeing him every day.”
Arturo Ortega, who was coached by Guzman, informed WFAA that Guzman was in his life because the day he was born and even coached Ortega’s father.
“It’s not only a coach it’s not only a coach he’s my household, I see him like a grandpa determine,” Ortega stated.
Ortega stated Guzman was all the time there to lend a serving to hand, and all through the years, even drove Ortega to baseball practices when his mother and father have been working.
Basan stated Guzman mentored and coached a number of fighters who went on to turn into skilled boxers.
