FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Police arrested a Fort Lauderdale woman Saturday once they stated she beat her canine to death in overdue August.
A witness discovered the decomposing frame of Snowball, a “small mixed poodle breed,” within the trash on Sept. 1.
According to police, that witness lives with the 30-year-old suspect, Shacoria Pulliam, within the 600 block of Northwest thirteenth Terrace within the town’s Durrs community.
He instructed police that on Aug. 28, he noticed an “agitated” Pulliam yelling and screaming on the circle of relatives canine and later punching her within the head and frame, an arrest document states, inflicting the small canine to “yelp as if she was in pain.”
Police stated he stepped in to prevent the assault and put Snowball in her crate.
But, the document states, later that evening, he noticed Pulliam beating Snowball with a frying pan because the canine yelped in ache. She then kicked the canine out of the entrance door, police stated.
Other witnesses reported seeing Pulliam, whom they described as a “heavy drug user,” beating Snowball.
Police stated Aug. 28 will be the ultimate time someone noticed Snowball alive.
On Sept. 1, Pulliam’s housemate came upon her decomposed frame in a trash can alongside the aspect of the rental. A necropsy decided Snowball died of blunt power trauma.
The document doesn’t state why nobody referred to as police till after Snowball was once discovered useless.
Pulliam was once being held in Broward County’s Paul Rein Detention Facility on a $25,000 bond for a prison fee of animal cruelty inflicting death, in accordance to prison data.
