Former Oklahoma legislative assistant sues state, claiming wrongful termination

OKLAHOMA CITY — A former legislative assistant is suing the state of Oklahoma, claiming leaders within the House of Representatives wrongly fired her after she tried to calm a confrontation between Black Lives Matter protestors and Republican lawmakers.
