Former Cowboys player charged with animal cruelty, allegedly left dog locked in Pipe Creek storage unit


SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio guy and previous Dallas Cowboys player was once arrested this week after he allegedly left a small dog locked in a storage unit for 2 days over the summer season. 

According to arrest information, a Helotes police officer was once dispatched to a Pipe Creek storage facility on June 20, the place he heard barking from inside of a unit. With the assistance of an worker, he opened and rescued a “small puppy” who was once locked inside of.
