Football fans on social media have taken to platforms of their droves to protest a glaring absentee from the PFA males’s gamers’ player of the year shortlist.
The record was introduced on Wednesday afternoon, and comprised gamers voted by their fellow professionals for his or her work throughout the season.
And, for the most half, it was family names that dominated it, with Cristiano Ronaldo becoming a member of Liverpool trio Virgil Van Dijk, Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold, title-winning midfielder Kevin De Bruyne and Tottenham’s Harry Kane as these nominated for the award.
However, whereas none may be thought of undeserving of their place on the record, there was one glaring absentee that fans have been fast to elude to.

No Son…
The man in query was Heung-Min Son, who emerged from the season with a share of the golden boot alongside with Mo Salah, and whose strikes proved essential in Tottenham’s hunt for Champions League soccer.
And, fans have been fast to focus on how ludicrous his absence actually was.
