MIAMI – A woman from Collier County hit the jackpot after playing a Florida lottery scratch-off game, Lottery officers introduced this week.
Luisana Dorado, 39, of Naples, claimed her $1 million prize Friday after playing the “$1,000,000 A Year For Life Spectacular” scratch-off game.
According to Lottery officers, Dorado selected to obtain her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum cost of $640,000.
She bought the scratch-off price tag from a Circle Okay gas station in her place of origin.
The retailer will obtain a $2,000 bonus fee for promoting the successful price tag.
“The $50 scratch-off game, $1,000,000 A Year For Life Spectacular, launched in February and features two top prizes of $1 million a year for life and 234 prizes of $1 million,” the Florida Lottery mentioned in a news unencumber. “Additionally, the scratch-off tickets are filled with more than $1.6 billion in cash prizes.
