Florida woman pulls gun in McDonald’s drive-thru during argument over free cookie

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. [WESH] — A Florida woman was arrested after she pulled a gun in a McDonald’s drive-thru all over a free cookie.

Police mentioned Amari Hendricks was fairly upset as a result of she reportedly believed she was entitled to a free cookie on account of not being requested in regards to the rewards program, in line with NBC affiliate WESH

Although Hendricks was given the free cookie, she continued to argue.

Employees advised police that because the 24-year-old was yelling at them, she grabbed a gun, inserted {a magazine}, and racked the slide. Another worker mentioned he noticed Hendricks pointing the gun towards the drive-thru window.

Hendricks’ frustration grew the place she bought contained in the fast-food restaurant and attacked a person, scratching him on the face and neck, WESH reported.

She was taken into custody after initially refusing to adjust to officer instructions.

Hendricks is dealing with costs of aggravated assault with a lethal weapon, battery, and resisting arrest.
