Florida man crashes SUV into fireworks store, sparking huge fire


A Florida man drove his SUV into a fireworks retailer, sparking a huge fire in a crash that destroyed the constructing, authorities stated. The driver was killed.

The 53-year-old driver had rear-ended one other car on Monday earlier than plowing into the Phantom Fireworks store in West Melbourne, igniting rockets and touching off a collection of explosions, Florida Today reported.

“It was wild. I could not believe how close people were to it as the fireworks were still blowing up,” Palm Bay resident Richard Griffin informed the newspaper. “The mortars and stuff like that, these issues can go 100 yards or extra whenever you shoot them straight within the air. So you’ve bought these mortars and all types of various kinds of fireworks that are shooting all over.”
