Florida hate crime charges filed against 2 in Black man’s beating


MIAMI – Two white Florida males have been charged with a federal hate crime for allegedly beating a Black man in a retailer car parking zone whereas yelling racial slurs.

Roy Lashley, 55, and Robert Lashley, 52, have been indicted by a grand jury, the U.S. Justice Department stated in a news launch Friday.
