Florida Finishes Day One of Stanford Intercollegiate


STANFORD, Calif. – The Florida ladies’s golf group completed day one of the ultimate fall event on the Stanford Intercollegiate on Friday. 

The Gators bounced again after ending 5-over on the again and made the flip to finish even on the entrance with a rating of 289. Florida was one of the primary groups to tee off at Stanford Golf Course and sits in thirteenth by the primary 18 holes. Host Stanford is the event chief at 8-under. 

Chico, Calif. native, Jackie Lucena, led the Gators with a 1-under 71 to put T15. After two bogeys earlier on the entrance, she went par-birdie-birdie-par-birdie to conclude the spherical. The under-par spherical marked her third of the autumn.

The duo of Maisie Filler and Annabell Fuller each carded a clear entrance 9 en path to a rating of 73 (+2). Fuller fired 12 consecutive pars, beginning on 16. Taylor Roberts can be tied for forty fourth as she wrapped up her spherical strongly with two birdies and 5 pars in her final seven after a +3 on the again. 

In her first fall outing, Marina Escobar went birdie on her second and eagle on her third holes to start out the spherical. She was the fourth Gator to shoot a 73 (+2). 

Competing as a person Jenny Kim shot a 75 (+4) and is T71.
