A Florida man strolling his dog Tuesday morning led deputies to an injured burglary suspect after recognizing a trail of blood leading inside his neighbor’s dwelling, authorities mentioned.
The dog walker instructed deputies that he found his neighbor’s home windows have been smashed and that there gave the impression to be blood on the entrance door, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office mentioned.
Responding deputies entered the house and located a person, later recognized as 32-year-old Jonathan Leaf, mendacity on a mattress coated in blood, in response to authorities.Â
