Florida A&M baseball drop doubleheader to Jackson State


JACKSON, MISS. (famuathletics.com) — Florida A&M baseball (25-24, 18-7 SWAC) go 0-2 in a doubleheader towards Jackson State Saturday afternoon at Braddy Field, shedding 4-3 and 9-2.

Game 1 – Rattlers 3, JSU 4: The Rattlers have been down 3-0 going into the highest of the second earlier than crossing dwelling plate on a success by pitch with bases loaded to make it a 3-1 sport. The Tigers received on the board on the backside of the second on a solo dwelling run to make it a 2-1 sport. The Tigers took the lead on the backside of the third on a two-RBI single to give them a 3-2 benefit. JSU prolonged its lead, scoring 5 runs on the backside of the fourth to go up 8-2.

The Rattlers and Tigers conclude the collection tomorrow at 1 p.m. CT.
