Firefighters battle attic fire at North Side home



SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio firefighters spoke back to an attic fire at a home at the town’s North Side.

SAFD believes the fire began in an AC closet, which then unfold as much as the attic.

The home within the 300 block of Royal Oak Drive was once now not occupied at the time.

Firefighters needed to make a pressured access to comprise the blaze.

“Part of the attic did collapse down into the middle of the house,” a battalion leader on scene stated.

The fire is now contained.

The battalion leader stated further gadgets have been known as to the scene as a warmth precaution.

SAFD didn’t specify if there was once any intensive harm to the remainder of the home.
