Fire breaks out in Lakeland home


LAKELAND, Fla. – A hearth broke out in a Lakeland home early on Christmas Eve, in response to the Lakeland Fire Department.

Fire officers mentioned they responded to the construction hearth situated at 601 North Stella Avenue in Polk County round 4 a.m. on Saturday.

Upon arrival, about 75% of the home was concerned with flames and smoke, the fireplace division mentioned.

Firefighters carried out a search of the property and located there have been no residents, in response to a launch from the Lakeland Fire Department.

Neighboring properties have been evacuated out of warning, the fireplace division mentioned. One sufferer did maintain burn accidents to the palms and shoulder, however the division didn’t say if it was a firefighter or neighbor.

Lakeland Fire Department’s prevention division continues to be investigating the reason for the fireplace.
