CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. — A Florida Highway Patrol trooper was involved in a shooting with a Citrus County suspected bank robber late Thursday morning.

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) stated Jeromee Wade Greenough entered TD Bank shortly earlier than midday on in Crystal River. Authorities stated Greenough approached the counter and demanded cash from the tellers, whereas waving a gun. After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, deputies stated Greenough left in a white automobile.
