CORSICANA, Texas — Four individuals have been indicted on accusations they stole $425,000 value of health trackers for resale from a warehouse in Corsicana, south of Dallas, federal authorities introduced Monday.
The suspects had been indicted earlier this month on a cost of conspiracy to commit theft from interstate cargo. Authorities recognized the suspects as Antonio Marcell Lewis, 41; Samuel Earl Lewis, 36; Aaron Lincoln, 43; and Ricka Smith, 37, in response to a news launch from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
An indictment stated Lewis and Lincoln each labored for a division retailer’s distribution heart in Corsicana.
The pair, over the course of 4 months, would allegedly unload pallets of the health trackers from freight trailers and place them close to the distribution heart’s loading docks, officers stated.
Smith, a industrial truck driver, would then park her truck close to the docks, as Lewis and Lincoln loaded the health trackers onto the truck, the news launch stated.
Smith, Lewis and Lewis’ brother, Samuel Lewis, would later meet as much as unload the health trackers, in response to the discharge. The Lewis brothers would then promote the trackers to “unauthorized retailers,” officers stated.
More information in regards to the trackers and the place they had been allegedly offered was not launched.
The suspects resist 5 years in jail.
The FBI’s Dallas Field Office investigated the case, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office is prosecuting it.
