FBI arrests man wanted for 2002 Lauderhill murder, armed kidnapping


LAUDERHILL, Fla. – The FBI introduced the arrest of a fugitive desirous about a homicide in Broward County over two decades in the past.

Investigators say in 2002, Kareem Jobbar Lightbourne fatally shot a man after which abducted his ex-girlfriend and their son, who used to be 2 years outdated on the time, at gunpoint.

Lightbourne later fled Florida.

The FBI found out Lightbourne, now 47, used to be hiding within the Dominican Republic, the place he used to be detained by means of government after which expelled to the United States for immigration violations.

He has since been taken to the Broward Sheriff’s Office Main Jail.
